Hydroxy Inhaler SPE1000

Hydroxy Inhaler SPE1000

Is this yours? Large unit with a display showing a timer, water quality bars and warning icons (Water Shortage, Over Pressure, Over Heat, Unbalance).

Quick fixes

The SPE1000 stops itself and flashes an icon when something needs attention.

Water Shortage

Top up with purified or distilled water to the 1.2 L level. It restarts once there's enough water.

Full Water (blue light flashing)

The tank is over the maximum. Drain a little; fill to 1.2 L.

Water quality bars red (TDS low)

The unit stops when water quality drops to Low. Drain the tank and refill with fresh distilled or purified water. It restarts when the bars return to green.

Over Pressure

The nasal cannula is usually folded or has water in it. Straighten it, shake out the water and restart. If it keeps happening, replace the cannula.

Over Heat

Switch off and let it cool. To speed this up, drain the tank and refill with fresh water, then restart.

Unbalance

The unit is tilted. Place it on a flat surface.

Filter icon flashing

Time to replace the resin in the tank filter (every 6 to 12 months). Contact us for a refill kit.

Pressure won't hold, or weak output

Fill the unit with white distilled vinegar and leave overnight. Then drain, rinse with warm distilled water (below 60°C), run for 5 minutes, and repeat, adding 5 minutes each round until it runs a full 30 minutes. Refill with fresh distilled water.

Common questions

How many people can use it at once?

Two people, each with their own nasal cannula.

What do the coloured bars on the panel mean?

They show the water quality in the tank: green is good, yellow is fair, red means change the water.

What water should I use?

Purified or distilled water only. Other water can damage the unit.

What does it produce?

Up to 666 ml/min hydrogen and 333 ml/min oxygen.

How long should a session be?

Start with 30 minutes a day and build up. The timer runs from 30 minutes to 8 hours.

Why use the cannula with a water separator?

The separator removes the water that forms when the unit makes oxygen.

Care and cleaning

  • Use purified or distilled water only.
  • Replace the nasal cannula every 2 months, or monthly with heavy use.
  • Not using it for a while? Drain the tank and refill with fresh water before the next use.
  • Use it somewhere cool and ventilated, with the vents clear.

Warranty and repairs

1-year warranty on the main unit. Cannulas and the humidifier bottle are consumables. We start with a video call to diagnose the problem. If it can't be fixed remotely, we arrange collection by courier.
