Quick fixes

No bubbles, or fewer than before

  1. Fill with warm tap water and leave for 1 to 2 hours, then run 4 to 6 cycles with the lid off.
  2. Clean the base: leave a little white vinegar in it overnight, rinse, then run a cycle with fresh water.

Not charging

  • Use a standard 5 V, 1 A adaptor and the supplied cable, not a fast charger.
  • Dry the charging port before plugging in.

Leaking

  • Hand-tighten both the top and the base fully; they seal by screwing closed.
  • Check the seal is seated flat after washing.

Common questions

How is it different from the Active bottle?

Elevate makes more hydrogen (about 4 ppm in 5 minutes, up to about 6 ppm on an extended cycle) and holds 270 ml. The Active makes about 1.7 ppm per 6-minute cycle and up to about 4 ppm with a second cycle.

Do I need tablets?

No. It makes hydrogen from water.

What water should I use?

Purified or distilled water, cool or room temperature. Drink straight away.

Does anything need replacing?

No filter. The battery is the part that wears; at the right charger it lasts years, with a fast charger it can fade around the 2-year mark. We carry spares.

Battery life per charge?

15 to 20 cycles.

Care and cleaning
  • Flask and lid can go in the dishwasher.
  • Base: leave a little white vinegar in it overnight to remove mineral build-up, then rinse.
  • Never submerge the base.

Warranty and repairs

6-month warranty from the date of purchase. Batteries and parts are available after that.
